Easy to Add or Change Content

Our main reason for choosing Joomla over other CMS systems as the basis for our self-update website platform, was how quick and easy it is to add new content. Once we have finished building your initial website, and the CMS side has been configured, adding or changing content in future is simple. You just log into your website admin area, write the content for a new page, or edit content on an existing page, then hit ‘Save’… and that’s it! Your website will be updated instantly. You are in complete control and there are no additional costs to pay your designer for doing the work!

This is ideal for clients who want full control of their website content, but don’t have the skills to edit their site at raw coding level, or deal with the core database behind Joomla.

Simply put, Joomla makes it easy for clients to maintain their own websites using an online editing interface. All you need is a computer and internet connection to edit your website. If you have experience with word processing software, such as Microsoft Word, then you’ll be able to use the Joomla page editor.

Open Source = Free… No Costly Software Licence!

Another key reason for choosing Joomla is the fact that it is open source and subsequently a ‘free’ CMS, meaning there is no commercial CMS software to purchase or a licence charge to add onto the website package price. (Commercial CMS software or bespoke systems can add significant costs to a website).

Joomla is built around a core database, basic configuration and a template/theme system which dictates the look of a website. A benefit to this system is that we can build your website faster and so cheaper, both of benefit to you as client.
